HERE’S WHAT EDUCATORS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE 2024 NV STEAM CONFERENCE:
“I gained a practical application that relates to art and nature that I can integrate into my lessons next year in a way that I actually NEED!”
“Reaffirming importance of nature education and reframing how a tool like a map can expand into so many other learning and community-building possibilities.”
“This conference gave me ideas to incorporate art into my classroom.”
“All of the presentations were amazing! I am excited to integrate infographics or scientific illustrations into my classroom. I will also be taking my class out into our school garden more.”
“I appreciate that is applicable to my teaching and offered ways to integrate STEAM in my classroom. I also loved all of the resources.”
“Every time I attend I get a renewed sense of value for STEAM even though many times in my school and county, it doesn't seem like it is valued, based on the programs and focus they tend to focus on. It makes me realize that sometimes I can go against the grain and it is more valuable to my students...I can integrate it using standards and provide my students with valuable learning opportunities.”
“I always enjoy the conferences. I have been attending most since 2013. I have never been disappointed. I appreciate now the integration of art with STEM, to make STEAM so that now I can change the perception of students and others of how they are all connected and needed to rely on each other.”
