Tiffany Pereira is an Associate Research Scientist and scientific illustrator at the Desert Research Institute with over 12 years of field surveying experience. Her research areas of expertise include flora and fauna interactions, seed and germination ecology, rare plant ecology, soil seed banks, and restoration ecology. As both a researcher and artist, she is also interested in graphic design and illustration for science communication. She provides these services, along with outreach and educational services to DRI and local agencies. She has completed commissions for the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, and research publications.
