Emily McDonald-Williams is the STEM Education Program Manager at the Desert Research Institute, providing direction and support for DRI’s STEM initiatives statewide. Prior to joining DRI, Emily worked with Oregon State University, providing informal education programs on a state, national, and international basis. Emily is passionate about providing innovative and accessible education programs to all in an equitable and inclusive manner. Emily believes creative solutions solves problems and is excited about innovative STEAM programs bridging the gap between arts and STEM topics. Emily received her Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction in STEM from Southern Oregon University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
